Are you sure thats all you have? There will not be much room after win 98. You may have read it wrong. This could be the amount you are actually using

When you formatted and fdisked the hard drive did you enable large hard drive support? Did you say yes when it asked you or did you say no? You must enable large drive support so that windows 98 can see all of your hard drive... If this is an old computer you may have to use the hard drive manufacture's overlay program to be able to see your all of your hard drive.

You could also use your boot floppy, at the a: prompt type in fdisk and select the option to view your drive partition(s).

So, what the next step? Do you think that if I convert it to FAT32 with the win98 disk convertissor, win98 will support the whole disk size???

Oups,

the fisrt part of my message disapeared.
I just wanted to thank you all for your quick answers.

Indeed, I formated my disk in FAT16 'cause I did not enable large hard drive support with fdisk. I can't believe i did such a thing!!!
