does any one has an idea about the beep code errors can u send me a list or a site that I
can get some info. also how can I reply personally to those people who spend thier time answering my questions? I also want to say thank you to those users who participated on my last question (basic networking) thanks :)256 memory, vidoe card 64

Just search the internet using the name of your BIOS manufacter (Phoenix, Award, etc.) and the term "beep codes".
If upon turning on your computer, a splash screen prevents you from seeing the BIOS manufacturer, in XP go to Start-> Programs -> Accessories -> Sytem Tools -> System Information. in the right-side pane it should list BIOS version/date.
Not sure if this is the same in Windows 98 :-)

The preferred means of thanking or acknowledging helpers is to respond in the original post within a reasonable timeframe.
There is also Computing.Net's 'Private Message' feature for personal messages, but generally, public thanks are more than sufficient

... then again, I suppose you happen to be one of the 98% ? Try and take things in context
