Hi everyone,

Being a regular visiter to this forum and posting regular responses to our friends queries and problems, I would just like to point out that someone else has hijacked my name.

I'm Vito Toscani at vito@supanet.com and would advise you all to appreciate the difference between myself and other Vitos!

I remain a loyal friend to all and will continue to post my advice where I can.

Greetz nodz n gr1nz to mesich.

Regards
Vito Toscani

Did they hijack your name or did you hijack theirs?
There are lots of Sams, Dans, etc. We don't assume that every Vito is you. Maybe you should select a more unique handle.

Hehe Sorry for any confusion. =)

My name is Vito Martinez, and I am a System Administrator for DTE Energy. I have visited this site many times for the past year and a half, and have been delighted with the response to my queries.

It is my intent to share what knowledge I have gained, and not to step on anyone's toes. I apologize if I have unintentionally misled anyone. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I encountered another with the same name. =)

From now on, all my posts will be signed with a random BOFH style excuse...loved by SysOps and SysAdmins all over. =)

Once again, sorry for any confusion. And I hope there are no hard feelings.

Vito M.

I used to be just Bryan but another Bryan was posting so I changed my name to Bryco with a signature at the bottom of each posting.
The other Bryan was giving good information and I didn't want anyone to be confused. :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Bryco. Didn't realise that was the reason you changed your handle. Appreciate it muchly.

It happens to all of us. My name is not that rare so I've seen others.

I started as Prof but then another one came along. Maybe Bryco has the best idea but you have to re-establish yourself all over again (hey - sometimes that can be an advantage).
