i'm trying to install norton-anti virus, but the programme tells me i have to close the "back web agent".
what is the "back web agent"? where do i find it and how do i close it???

backweb is software that HP installs to send you updates. Disable it in msconfig and uninstall it if possible. It doesnt really do anything.
2 years running 98se it updated nothing.

you can click on alt-ctrl-delete double click back web agent then click end task.
