The 'Award Modular Bios v4.51PG' is a basic template supplied by Award. Then the motherboard or system manufacturer writes to it the specific details they want for the motherboard.
The bios you downloaded and installed was the Asus modification of the Award bios. The Award bios version, 4.51PG, won't be changed by the update. The update can only make changes within the bounds of the 4.51PG version.
Some add-on cards may have their own bios and any installed hardware will need their own drivers, but that's a separate issue.
If you were only concerned that the 4.51PG didn't change I hope this explains it. Did the bios upgrade allow the new drive to be seen? If not, how big is your new drive?

This is about something different, I used Sisift Sandra to analize my computer and it tells me I should upgrade my BIOS.

Just ignore sisoft sandra's recommendations. It's probably comparing the original bios date and today's date automatically generating that message. The only upgrade you can use is from Asus and you've just installed the most recent one they have. (Well there are places that will write a custom made bios but I understand that can be expensive.)

alright Dave, I'll leave it as it is... thanks for your time.

You're welcome. Sisoft has no way of knowing if an upgrade is available. It can only go by the existing dates.
Asus has pretty good support but after a motherboard is a few years old any manufacturer is going to stop wasting resources on things like bios updates. I have noticed their updates usually include support for larger drives so I hope that fixed your problem.
