Hi, i know this is probably the wrong forum but u peeps seem in the know about a lot of things.
I can play .mpeg movies on my dvd player that i recorded from my pc but it rejects AVI formats. yet with the right codec it works fine on my pc. Is there a way of changing AVI to mpeg or can i put the codec on the cd itself for the dvd player to read?
TIA

Hi.

As far as I know, DVD players only read MPG files that match a standard compliance in screen resolution and audio format. If you use Nero for burning VCDs, it can encode your files to that standard.

Maybe this link will be helpful
