avi versus quickcam

i did an avi recording on quickcam and pressed reset by mistake now when i read the file it is @ 3,000 and try to open it error message is invalid or corrupt file is there any way of saving this file or editing it too good to loose!!

Since the file is crupt, You might not be able to edit it. Try using one of the editing programs for avi and other firmats. The other thing is to check the quickcam settings. Check for these settings in the control Panel and programs under the start menu. The settings you are looking for is recording. One thing that will correct this is to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. You should look for updates for the quickcam camera.
