i want to play a movie from my computer on s-video to my tv and record it to vhs tape. is there any way to do this. thanks in advance

The first thing you will need is a vga to tv scan converter. This connects to the video card of your computer, and then your computer monitor and a TV or VCR connects to the scan converter. Then you'll need to play the .avi file full screen in order record only the .avi file as it plays. In Windows Media Player push alt and enter to go to full screen mode.

Assuming you have tv-out on your vid card, skip the converter part and connect the cable to video-in on your VCR. Connect a cable from the sound card speaker port to sound in on the VCR.
