Comment:

I have recently downloaded a movie file from the internet and am unable to view it in either Win Media Player, Quicktime, or DivX Player. I have tried to search for solutions to my problem on the net and have tried all the suggestions I could find, but it still won't work. The players act like they are playig the file (I can see the seconds ticking off of the counter), but I have no audio or video. I have downloaded the latest DivX Decoder to see if that would work, but it didn't. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try the Real Audio Player. Maybe it's an .ra file.

I had the same prob, what I did waz getting rid of all the junk programs (spyware invested anywayz) I kicked DivX codecs and WMP 7.1, I started using WMP 6.4 again what comes standard (wel with W98se it does)
I took some advise from this site;

http://www.411forsex.com/help/codecs_and_tools/codecs.html

and installed codecs from them, since than it workes like a wet dream.

good luck
