ok, before this problem my pc was turned off automatically. before two days the standby option disappeared from the shutdown menu. in the microsoft support page, they asked me to remove the APM support and reinstall it(see url). since then, the standby option is back, but i have an annoying problem when i shutdown windows 98SE. i get a msg saying "its now safe to turn off your computer" i've tried all the solution i've read in this forum, but this problem was not solved! PLS HELP!!!
