That file is not in Win98 CD. You will find it on your win98 startup disk. Copy from your startup disk and paste in C:\Windows\Command

"I typed at c:\windows>Attri.exe and it can't find it" Well, if you indeed typed Attri.exe, that would be your problem! I'll assume that's a typo and you did in fact type Attrib.exe. I don't think Attrib is one of the "native" commands in DOS (like dir, cd, etc.), so for it to work you need to either: 1) Load a Path statement into memory, specifying the directory location of the Attrib command or 2) Be in that directory when you try executing the Attrib command. Basically, DOS nees to know where to look, and if it's not in the current directory, it needs a path to follow to find it.
Attrib.exe should be in the c:\windows\command folder. It should have run when you typed that command because c:\windows\command should be in the 'Path' statement. If it's not there you can copy it from a win98 startup floppy. It's not necessary to do anything in autoexec.bat. Type attrib /? for an explanation of use.
