I have done research on some motherboards and I have always heard good things about aopen, abit, asus, dfi, soyo. Those are my top picks. I have used dfi, soyo and abit. My first abit, wich I have now is the bx133 with raid technology. It is clearly the "best" mobo I have ever used. Stable as a rock. I have many friends that have bought amd cpu's and have experienced freaquent lock-ups. I highly recommend a P3 or P4. I have a socket 370 P3 1ghz. Overclocked to 1.28 currently. I'm monitoring to see how good it is doing (great so far for 3 weeks).

BEware of the AK73pro motherboard, it might have some probs with freezing well within operating status as well as it may claim that your "CPU might have a problem" weather equipped with the voice command, even though you donīt have a problem with the CPU. Iīm going to return my motherboard and claim warranty. Also see the link attached to this comment for further reviews.
