I haven't used "pure" Win95 in many years. However, I do occasionally combine Win95 & Win98 into a "hybrid" by using a program called 98Lite. It works quite well & is especially good for older systems...it gives the best of both worlds.

I use Windows 95 on a AST ASENTIA (SP) A. I have had very little problems. I have encountered the BSOD if the laptop... (sorry notebook) is left on for more than 1 hour without being used, i'm not sure if that is 95's fault or AST's.
I purchased this IBM Netvista 6578-LAU for 25.00 runs perfect came with keyboard mouse which i will replace w/ optical some day and screen

I still have an old laptop running Win95 that I use on a regular basis. The web browsers I use are IE 5.0, Links, and Lynx. I also have an old Netscape browser (4.0 I think) still installed.

Just for your info, Opera 9 works well and they still offer it in an old .exe installer or "Classic Installer" beside the newer .msi installer.... and it works well in windows 95A witch is what I'm using right now.
