KernelEX is a patch that modifies win98 and enables it to install programs that are meant to be installed on winXP. 2. Has anybody tried it ??

I have used it and it worked ok. I forget what programs I used after but I do remember running a few XP only apps and games on 98se after i installed it. and it ran them fast! I found that program/update on another forum, but I don't know if i'm allowed to post there address here...

well here it is.... if they get mad, owell. http://www.msfn.org goto there forums and you'll see a windows 95/98/me forum. in there is a section for unofficial 98 updates. there is several.

unless the advice involves illegal stuff, any spread of knowledge will never be censored by computing.net! cause their awesome!
