Looks like my old antivirus software is dead and went to heaven ,so I need to get myself a new one. I've been reading tons of reviews and still can't decide what to go for ,so my question is:what antivirus do u think is the best one out there ? What would u recommend me to go for? Which one has the most accessible updates/autoupdate ,etc etc.
P.S. no Norton or McAfee-I know they r both very good, but my I've tried both and my system tends not to like 'em very much ,so, it's all except those 2.
Thank u very much ,I really appreciate your help.

I'm with you. I hate virus programs.
But that aside, there is a free one available at

I personally like Command Antivirus. I am a Comp tech at my college and we use it there. it has a simple botton to update the deff files, scans automatically and is realatively cheap. after my experience with it on campus i bought it for my home use too. www.commandcom.com

There's a post much earlier about an online system at www.antivirus.com that will scan your stuff free, online. Can't vouch for it, but you may want to take a look. I don't like the thought of people looking at my hard drive, call me paranoid.
