Anyone know of any really good free antivirus program that you like? How about a free virus remover too?

Virus Remover? What do you think the Anti Virus does?

AVG - free and pretty good.

Some just scans for viruses but doesn't remove them.

Not sure if webmaster still asks that you choose the appropriate forum and then use the Search feature before posting.

Whatever, if you choose the Security & Virus forum and search for "free antivirus" you will get several hits. AVG & Avast seem to come up the most.

From my experience the online Trend anti virus does a good job of removing viruses that AVG can't.

The best one I know of online that scans and removes for free and you can try a trial download is www.pandasoftware.com 's active scan.
