You will find those programs, if not all, to hinder operation rather than help.

Good maintenance and common sense is the best anti-crash program availaible.

If you need definition of 'good maintenance' then please ask as I am sure many will fill you in or be glad to educate you.

Try this: Jibreel Anti-Crash. I run it and I love it. You never know it is around. It just cuts down on the crap.

I have a strong tendency to agree with Vtech and Bryco on utilization of Anti-Crash software. It usually drains memory, and if you do look around you will note that not many are in existance, I am not even a fan of Go Back by Roxio, talk about a system drainer it takes over even on startup. Norton quit using Crash Guard within their System Works because it caused more problems than it solved; And as a user I can attest to that. Nuts and Bolts by McAfee had it's problems also. Good weekly maintenance of your system including Scan Disk, complete virus scan, defrag every few weeks, cleaning out temp files, history will actually improve performance of your CPU.
