Hi,
I have a bog standard Windows 98 (SE) PC, with Netware Client 32 Installed (latest ver 3.31).
I connect a printer to the parallel port, and then run Novell's NPRT95.exe to install this printer as a remote printer shared on the network. The GUI loads, and I can browse the NDS Tree, and select the server/printer to be installed on the local PC. When I click OK I get the following blue screen:
An exception 0E has occured at 0028:C737CB24 in VxD---. This was called from 0028:C738D9E0 in VxD ---.
...no VxD name is specified.
I can continue after the blue screen, but the screen keeps returning until the computer is restarted.
When restarted, I can run NPRT95.exe again, but the GUI will not load. I get the blue screen each time.
I have tried this on 3 PC's - All Win98 SE, all standard typical builds) - A Dell, A Compaq, and a build your own - All with the same results.
It works fine on Windows 95.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please email me at julian.small@smallworldit.com
Thanks.
