Alternative to Internet Explorer

i want to change my browser to somehting other than IE. ive tried MyIE2, Opera and Netscape and didnt like them much. anyone know of a lightweight browser that wil run on the windows 32 platform. dont mind paying.

I like Slimbrowser, it runs on the same engine as IE, but I Like it alot better , it adds some different controls and a decent pop-up blocker, it's also free
Also Mozilla, I believe the latest is Firefox, I'm sure you'll get a few people telling you how great it is, I haven't really used it much
That is also free

Mozilla & FireFox are free and very solid. popup blocker, password mgr, forms mgr etc.

Mechanix2Go is correct....
FireFox doesn't require IE to be installed (like some others) and the integrated ad and pop-up blocker alone have a lot of people ditching IE altogether...

I also read good reviews about FireFox Mozilla and installed it. My concern is Windows Updates since these can't run from Mozilla. How do you approach this task with a different browser, if you want your O/S, drivers, etc. identified and updated "in a bundle" as is done by Windows Update in IE?
