I have a 200GB hdd, formatted past the 127.53GB limit that scandisk can handle. I need a anternate utility (freeware) that does the samething like check the directory structure and all that. I have searched a little bit on google but nothing came up. Maybe someone here knows where I can get one.
Ps- I already have an alternate defraggger also- disk keeper lite. This works past the 127.53 limit with the default defragmenter also.

Is splitting the drive into two 100gb partitions not an option?

when I want scandisk to check my directory structure , I go to start then shut down and click restart in MS DOS Mode .When pc shuts off and comes back on , type in scandisk and hit enter key. This checks all files including directory structure.Do this before going to bed as it takes 4 hours or more. leave p/c on all might.
