I have the above speakers connected to a DELL computer and a strange problem is occurring. When I try to increase the volume of the speakers from the speakers themselves, the PC hangs and I have to press the Reset button. Also, when I try to run the Speakers' software, again the PC freezes! Can someone please help me!! This is TOP TOP URGENT!! For your reference, I am using a TBS Montego II Sound card.

I have same computer, speakers and sound card. Never had a problem. First I would try uninstalling the onscreen sound management program and see what happens. This should allow the speaker controls to operate. If the speaker controls operate ok then reinstall the program. If the same problem persists I would uninstall the program and leave it uninstalled. You really don't need it. I have it and I never use it. Does everything look alright in the device manager? Any yellow stuff?
