Could someone tell me why I cannot increase my AGP aperture setting to more than 16MB. I have an ASUS P3Bf motherboard with 384MB memory. I use a 3d blaster annihilator pro AGP and the system hangs if I increase the aperture size to more than 16MB. I have upgraded the motherboard bios and also used the latest 3d blaster drivers. I am running Windows 98 second edition. My sound card is an Aureal Vortex 2 SQ2500. Please help!!! Thanks

My computer has a BIOS setting for the AGP. I have mine set currently for 16mb maximum. I'm not sure if this is your problem, but it sounds familiar.

Check in your BIOS setup program to see what AGP settings there are. Use your manual to determine what AGP settings are ideal for your card.

Hopes this helps some,

Preston
