After I shutdown my HP Pavilion, My PC does not boot when I want it to. If I attempt to boot, only the yellow light goes on and nothing appears on screen. After an hour or so it will let me boot up as long as I don't try to boot up before then. It has been that way since the beginning. It is a refurbished PC at a good price, which is why it was never returned. Is there a way to change this so I don't have to wait to boot up?
UNFORTUNATELY, that WARRANTY is EXPIRED. I realize I should have done something sooner but I didn't. So now I am just asking for some advice. Thank you for yours.

sounds like a problem with the cmos battery. try pulling it and let the computer sit for a few minutes. you might need to rpl the battery.
