Comment: I just bought a new seagate 80GB HD. I wanted to test it out and installed it with single and limited jumper setting since my bios won't recognize it w/o being limited. After I installed the seagate overlay, it boots up with this. This works fine. My problem is that I want to use my old 13GB HD as a slave, but when I hook it up as a slave to my computer, my bios doesn't recognize either HD anymore because of the overlay program. I can't even boot up to my old HD anymore when I set it up as a single and there's important data on it! Is there any way to use my new HD as master and old HD as slave without upgrading my bios? Is there a way to get rid of the seagate overlay without losing the data on my old hd? Thanks a lot!

Reply: (edit)You will have to change the jumper from 'single' to 'Master'.

Reply: (edit)For my HD, single and master are the same jumper setting. I think the problem is w/ the overlay program. Thanks again!
