How do I remove annoying address URL's from my address bar in the Internet Explorer? I have tried deleting history and emptyimg Temp files and still they remain. I have hilighted it and deleted but when I go to manually type an address it pops up if the correct letters are typed.

Click start, go to settings, click taskbar and start menu, click start menu programs, and then in documents menu, click clear. When you go back on line, your URL bar will be nice and white and blank! You also might want to go to control panel, click content, click autocomplete, click clear forms, ok, click clear passwords, ok. That will clear autocomplete (assuming that you have autocomplete enabled for forms and passwords). This will keep the URL's from completing (popping up) when you enter the correct letters of a previous address that you have viewed. This works for my WIN98. Don't know what you are using.

You also might need to reboot and then click clear forms and passwords again. Or just uncheck the autocomplete items.
