I am running into troubles adding a second hard drive. My cmos sees the new hard drive, but in My Computer it only shows my floppy and main C: and my cd rom. Does anybody know the steps tp get win95 to recognize the new hard drive? Could you please respond to my email address: tbninmn@hockey.net.

Make sure you saved the CMOS. Check the HD is partitioned (fdisk). Make sure its formatted. Check that one HD is Slave, and one Master. IDE cable could be plugged in upside down?

Eventually you should try to put the 2nd HD onto Secondary IDE Master. Let it be partitioned and formatted in vfat32. Good Luck!
