What version of web browser are you using? IE 5? 4? etc.

ActiveX is a type of program, not a single program. It's tough to tell exactly what program you are missing, but upgrading the browser will help.

Hello I have an exactly the same problem. When there is an embedded ActiveX object with either .wav or .midi extention, I get an error message that I do not have an ActiveX Viewer installed for these types of extentions. When it asks me if I would likt to download it i click Yes and nothing happens. I am using I.E. version 5.50. and reinstalling or reparing it did not solve the problem! Someone help please!!!
