ActiveX control warning

When I get email from one particular friend, I always get a warning window when I click on his email. The window reads: "An ActiveX control on this page is not safe. Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. As a result, this page may not display as intended." My question is, what is causing this person's email to display this warning? Is there something I can tell him to check at his end so as not to get this warning. He has commented that other people have mentioned it to him also. Any ideas?

To see your Active X settings for security if your using IE>> in your browser window choose Tools/Internet Options/Custom Levels/Security and you will see the Active X's in there. The Question is what is he sending and are you recieving at work. If your recieving at work then they are restricting the Active X Controls. You'll know if they all say disabled.
If it's home use then it has to be on your friends side and very possibly has a script virus attaching to emails every time your friend sends email.
