ACRORD32 invalid page fault in MSVCRT.DLL

System: TXPROII mobo, Cyrix 300MHz processor, 32MB, Win98SE, Acrobat Reader 4.05C. Get the following error on accessing some sites on the internet which are opening Acrobat Reader first. These sites are the ones having pics embedded in the PDF doc (news paper sites), the ones without pics open without any error. I have another machine exactly the same configuration and this error is not coming on that one:

Can someone please translate this error to me. SFC checks out fine, have reinstalled windows on top of the existing one (but not formatted yet), scanreg says ok. Video (and other)drivers are the latest ones. Adobe site could not be of help in this one. System otherwise performs perfectly.
