Hi

We have Acrobat reader 5 and everytime I open this pdf file it gives me this error.

There was an error opening this document. The root object is missing or invalid.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the reader, it works on other computer except my one.

What is wrong?

I do not know but try opening Acrobat Reader and then File, Open rather than clicking on the .pdf to open it.
Just a thought.

If this works then post back for a fix.

You say "every time I open THIS .pdf file"
Try a different pdf file. Maybe that one is corrupt.

I have tried opening the reader first then the *.pdf, but still comes up with the same error.

Other pdf seems ok, but this pdf files works on other machines.
