Does anybody know if Acrobat reader 4.0 is free to upgrade too the 5.0??
i have 4.0 full version and want to upgrade to 5.0 if its free if not i'll stay with 4.0....

The Reader version is still free but it only allows for the viewing of PDF documents. To actually create the PDF documents, the software must be purchased.

To clear up upgrading the full version, it costs about $100 just for the upgrade. Full would be about $250. Just go to the Adobe website and check it out.

Acrobat reader ver. 5.0 is a free to use download. It is stand allone software so you don't even need Acrobat 4.0

i only want the reader to read not to make PDF....
