aconti -could this be the problem?

CPU/Ram: AMD Athlon/256mb ram

Hi could the reason that my dialup box kicks in when windows loads be due to Aconti is it a characteristic of it if so what is the easiest way to get rid of it?

HI it could be, is the phone # in the dialup box different from your ISP?
If it is go here

Hi thanks for your reply but this morning when i started up i ran ad-aware and got the results possible hiJack attenpt. On looking in the internet options my homepage was set to Wabu but my connections are still set to my default settings
