You have to know the IP address of your office computer. If your business uses a firewall you won't be able to tickle your office PC.

Try two things.
a) Have your LAN administrator install VPN support for your LAN or PC.
b) If you have a modem that's connected to your work PC, install a program such as PC anywhere that will allow you to dial in and control the PC remotely. Usually these type of programs will allow you to download files from/to the host and remote computers.

Dont ask us, ask your sys admin. I am sure he/she would just love to know that your tryin to gain entry via pc anywhere etc without asking first.
