I have been working on an ms access 2000 database for roughly 4 years, and it has grown to about 60 mb with 8000 records. i take it home to work on it and everything.. i brought it back today and replaced my old file with the one that i was working on at home, and the database i brought from home is 8mb. i open it and seems like everything is there. why would that happen. what happened to the 50mb???

It could have been "empty" records which got compacted during the transfer ?
