This is a system file and probably got corrupted. You will need to reinstall windows to fix it. Don't do anything else just put the CD in and run setup again. This will overlay all the system files without losing your files. HTH, wcr3d

You might also try going to Start, then clicking on Run, type in SFC (make sure you put your Win 98 disc in), and then scan for missing or corrupted files. If everything goes well, your computer should be able to reinstall the file(s) you need.

You might also consider getting the program Go Back that lets you return your harddrive to the state it was in at an earlier time.

Go to the MS Knowledge Base and read article Q191219 - Cannot Find Program.exe needed for Opening Files. There is no such a file as program.exe. Windows in essence is saying it does not know how to open this file. You need to edit the file association
