I am running on Win. 98 and have a 400 Mhz. Pen. II computer. I usually have ZoneAlarm, AddSubtract and Mcafee Security Center running most of the time. My problem is that I once downloaded a trial version of an add pop up killer called; 'Exit Killer' Pop Up Terminator. After I used it and didn't like it I tried to Units it, which got rid of most of it. Although for some reason the darn register pop up won't go away. I even went to my 'Windows Start Up' folder and could not find it in there. It seems to load up right when I start my computer and has three options on it; 'Buy Online' 'Enter Reg. Code' and 'Exit'. It will close out after I press 'Exit', but if I got rid of it in 'uninstall' why is does it keep coming back.
did you check msconfig startup start-run-type in msconfig-click ok startup tab-uncheck exit killer-click ok.

Tom, Have you tried going to: Start>Run, type in MSCONFIG, click OK, Startup(tab). Check the list for any commands related to the program. Uncheck and disable them, then click Apply, OK. Reboot computer.
Also, there might be an entry in the Registry keeping this thing alive. You may want to search the Registry or download and install RegCleaner to do a scan.
