98 cd drivers install

ok im going to format my hard drive i think, then if i insert the 98 start up disk and start it up i should be able to install windows 98 again right?
My cd drivers arent on my start up disk how do i get them there?

If your cdrom is a (more or less generic) IDE or SCSI drive, then you'll be fine.

You can make your own fron the Control panel.
Using Windows to create you a Windows 98 boot diskette will give you all the needed files as well as CD-ROM support. To create a Windows 98 boot diskette click Start / Settings / Control Panel / double click the Add Remove programs icon / click the Startup Disk and create disk.
