95 -> NT

i was wondering how do i switch from win 95
to nt and keep all content that i have on my comp.
any ideas greatly appreciated

You cannot upgrade to NT from 95. I generally give people the choice of installation. 95, NT or Dual boot.

To install NT in dual boot mode where you can select from either OS. Boot into win95 and start the NT installation from there.

As NT and 95 have different registries you will have to reinstall all software again in NT mode.

Can one upgrade from win98 to Winnt 4.0. yes the partition is fat32.
