3dfx Voodoo 3 tv/out problem

I recently got the 3dfx voodoo 3 video card with tv/out support. when i attempt to output to a tv i get sound but the image is all scrambled. has anyone else had htis problem? im assuming i have to change a few settings but am not sure what that would be. any help would be appreciated.

when i attempt to output to tv my computer monitor also gets scrambled. can vaguely make out the desktop but still not clear enought to work off of.
the tv is more so scrambled than the computer monitor.

Have you tried Control panel/display properties/settings/advanced/3dfxtv tab..& enabling"output to tv"?? there are a rew settigns ther you could also alter when this is enabled...

Not sure if anyone will read this - but you've just been ripped off. The Voodoo 3dfx TV card (3500) is the worst TV card out on the market. The big stupid blue thing hanging off the back is ludicrous and can cause the graphics card inside to come out of its slot. It only works with Win95/98 and will not work as a TV with NT or W2K nor is there any intention to do so. It causes Windows to freeze, and VOODOO (Who have recently been bought over) are not developing it any more.. GOOD LUCK
