Simple, just install win2000 in another partition, re-boot and install xp on the 3rd partition. Windows will automatically create a boot screen for you. It will highlight the default OS to run after 30 seconds, if you do nothing. You can change the default settings, decrease the selection time, or boot directly to the OS of your choice. I would suggest you leave the time to 30 seconds and select as the default OS, the one you use most often. Keep in mind, if you format the paartitions containing 2000 & XP using NTFS, you won't be able to access them from win98. The default file system is NTFS. You need to change the selection during the install to choose FAT32. If the partitions are to large, 2000 & XP won't let you use FAT32. I can't recall the break point in size. The boot settings are changed thru the last OS to be installed. I think you can install FAT32 on a 20GB partition.

It doesn't matter what partitions you install Win2 and XP on.

According to Windows knowledge base, WinXP is unable to create a FAT32 partition larger that 32GB. Win2000 looks like maybe 30GB. If you alread have these partitions formatted with FAT32 the it shouldn't matter which drive you install which OS. Make your decision based on space needs. Just make sure you formatted those partitions from Win98.

Hi:Thanks a lot guys for your responses
PS:There is a Win 2000Pro Installed on the Secondary HDD
But It cannot Start due to Error about "NTloader is corrupt or missing"
maybe I shall Format the secondary HDD and Used just for data

If it were me, I'd place all three operating systems on Primary partitions on the first hard drive. I'd use the second hard drive for storing documents and files that all three OSes can access.

Best Wishes,
Bob

Hi,
Put your w2k disk in and reboot your computer with it in the CD Drive. When it starts the install choose for it to do a repair and it should resolve the boot error. It will then give you a boot option window when you startup.
