256-color driver

I have a SVGA moniter and cannot manage to load 256 color, which is neccessary to run many programs. I would appreciate help in obtaining a 256-color driver, or some other way out of this solution.
go to driverguide.com. You will need to know what type of video card you have. then just download and install the dirvers for you card

I have a envison monitor and I need a 256 colors for it because with out it doesn't look good please if someone can send 256 colors I'll be very thanked
