I had 256 color on my computer and my wife started deleting things and now my 256 color is gone. I went through the whole help thing on the computer and I cant seem to get the 256 color back, what should i do?

if the option for 256 colours is gone from the display setting panel. then you will have to check and maybe re-install the graphics card drivers. check control panel, system, device manager, display adapters.

Just to clarify this advice,
To check that 256 is still a display option go to the control panel on the start menu and then select Display
Navigate to the Advanced section and you will see a resolution setting at the bottom right of the window
Select 256 if you can.
If you can't then you need to re-install the drivers for the graphics card.

Hi Pimp/Shannie
Well, you need to do that with the software provided with the graphics card.
If you don't have the CD anymore, you can often find the drivers you need on the net. Post the exact specifications of the graphics card in google (or just go to the grpahics card manufacturer site and search there) or post it here and you should be able to find the hardware drivers/software that you need.
