Hi Roark, hello everyone

Should work just fine.

You may need to download the WinXP drivers for it. You can get them from here.

Best Regards,
Mesich

Yeah, I have a friend with an old Deskjet and it was fine.

You may need to download new software if it has any besides drivers.

Roark,
I wouldn't even bother with any "utility" software. The XP drivers are far superior to any software that came with the printer. The driver is in the XP database, and it will not require any CD or downloading of any other driver. it is also Digitally signed by Micro$oft, meaning it has been tested to work with XP. I use a much newer 930C and I don't bother with the "toolbox" that comes with the printer. After all. you know when ink is running out, and all printer options are done either in the program you are printing from or from the printer properties. All this megabloat software that comes with printers is simply not required, and in this day and age it usually comes with registry links to "internet" connections, which then generate "pop-ups" for the product and the manufacturer. You buy a printer,,, you print,,, you change ink,,, what more is required...:o)

Safe Computing...:o)
