1. I tried to download a program and it said I was missing Win.ini file (does anyone know where to get it. 2. When I ran SFC it said my rdwinv2.dll was corrupt, went to dill web sites, they had no record or it. ???? Running W98se upgraded from w95 and IE5.5Sp1. Any Info would be appreciated. Sue

If the win.ini file were missing Windows wouldn't load.
Goto the runbox & type: sysedit & you'll find C:\windows\win.ini
As for rdwinv2.dll the file isn't a w98se system file, so it belong's to some program you have installed or uninstalled.
Do you have a download manager program?
What program are you trying to download & what is the url?
Download Accelerator Plus is a good download manager which has no spyware in it.
