I upgraded to Windows 8 pro I installed my old word 97, this program worked good on my Vista OS. Word won't my old files.The files are now wps. I don't get an option to open with word.
Does Word itself open? If you managed to get that far then browse for WINWORD.EXE and associate it with that. It's probably in Program Files > Microsoft Office
