Is there a way to limit the CPU usage of the built in real-time Virus/Malware scanner (I think it's called Defender) in Windows 8? It runs when the computer isn't active, but the CPU and fans make so much noise when it runs, I usually end up putting the computer to sleep or turning it off. If not, is there a good alternative to use if I disable Defender? Thanks!
