I am unable to open certain links on websites

I am opening a website and try to open certain links such as log on and its as if I haven't even clicked on it. The link just wont open.

What browser are you using, Internet Explorer 10?

Are you using any alternative browsers?

It would be worth installing Firefox just to prove whether this is a browser issue. Also because IE and FF work a bit differently it might tell us something. There is no need to keep FF long term - it uninstalls quite neatly.
