How can I permanently uninstall Internet Explorer 10 from my Windows 8 computer?

However, it disables it rather than fully uninstalling it - so stay tuned for other ideas.Be aware that you might not be able to get Windows updates (or at lest the manual ones) afterwards.

If you prefer a different browser (hopefully not Chrome), simply don't use IE10. It's not going to hurt anything to leave it installed & as stated by Derek, you'll need it if you ever want to manually update WIndows.
