Solved How do I delete the print queue in Windows 8?

Specs: Windows 8
I have deleted the document and cancelled it but the printer still won't clear. Have search the internet and there is loads of helpful advice about delete documents in the Print Spooler but cannot find the print spooler in Windows 8. Can anyone help?

Switch printer off and unplug it from the power socket to clear it's internal memory.

Leave it unplugged.

Shut down your PC (NOT just a restart).

Turn on your PC.

Now plug the printer back in to mains socket, switch it on and it should be clear of any previous data.

Phil 22 - thanks for that.
However, I undertook some further internet research and downloaded Spark Trust PC Cleaner Plus and ran the fix. It worked!

Once you know you windows commands this shouldn't be a problem. To locate Devices and Printers option in Control panel: press Windows logo key with letter R to bring out RUN then type control and press enter to open control panel and double click Devices and Printers option then do the same on printer intended to delete on-memory job(s) from.

Then this would be solved.

To me I think is only little services, tools and applications that is added to Windows 8 besides its desktop and soft-touch tech.
