Hi, I tried Windows 7 on my outdated pc and, it worked well but, I had one problem that the Windows experience index can't rate my pc , it gives error says that assessment isn't complete due to an error, so, I tried to use winsat command line, all tests were successful but, when the winsat tries to generate the xml file it gives an error "unable to generate xml file" , and that's all so, anyone have an idea about knowing the reason of xml file generating problem and how do I fix it ? as it's clear that assessment tool is able to rate my pc but the problem in generating the xml file which contains the rating info. sorry for my long story, trying to make clear of everything.

My guess is the tool doesn't have your board or parts of it in it's data base. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

It's already solved, upgraded to build 7068 and it worked. moreover , I discovered a power problem that the hard drive was getting powered off , files were not written well I think and sometimes the format of the hard drive gets lost , so I changed the PSU. the problem was solved. Thanks again.
